Shane Ander Adonis is a nineteen-year-old Nigerian author and poet. He has published a wide range of poetry and is currently writing his debut novel "Sun in the Dark."

He began writing from a young age, starting his creative journey with A-B rhyming poetry. It was the Hip Hop society and genre which further inspired him to spread his creative wings.

Shane firs read Richard Wright's Black Boy at just fourteen, and followed that with a variety of novels which focus on a racial theme. Adventures of Huckleberry and Maya Angelou's I know Why the Caged Bird Sings evolved his passion and inspired him to write.
