Each and every one of us differs in our own different ways. Even how different can that be, we must treat people as we want to be treated. With respect. These differences is the same thing that divides us from the heteronormative society. As a member of LGBTQ+, don't we want to be accepted? To be respected of being different? The same goes with our views and beliefs.
We must respect if other people's opinions doesn't align with us. We don't need to insult, to public shame, or bash someone if we don't agree with them. We're all different. All species are naturally designed that way. We're not some machine, programmed to think alike. We're humans— who have feelings. So, how do you feel being insulted, being cast out, being hated because you think and feel differently?
Don't go pushing your own beliefs to other people because each and every one of us have our own set of ideals, and no one else can decide whether it's right or wrong other than ourselves. BECAUSE it's our own EQUAL RIGHT, and we are all EQUALLY VALUABLE to society. ALL OF US have a SAY.
Don't go carelessly spouting degrading words just to prove your point. Don't go judging people mindlessly, because you have no idea what they're going through. Their single opinion on a certain matter(even if you think it's wrong) doesn't define their whole personality and being. Their negligence on a certain matter must mean they have enough on their cup to worry about, and no room for anything else.
We're all going through something. We're all having a hard time. All we can do is be more sensitive about the other's feelings, because that's the most humane thing to do. And isn't that what we want for ourselves too? For people to understand us.
"Do not do unto others what you don't want done unto you. Furthermore, do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
So, People. RESPECT. Stop HATING.
Peace, everyone.
