You're really pretty when the sun hits you so peacefully, your eyes glitter and your skin is of petals and nutrients. So rich - if I took a sip - I'd be damned to my bed. With a headache of sorts and a pain in my stomach that could barely resort. You are the piece I've always been missing - like a puzzle to fit - or a sudoku book I can't finish. Something restless or something meant to never be complete. You were the one and then I lost you. Like a lost & found book I wasn't meant to keep. Or a jacket I thrifted that wasn't my size so to speak. This isn't a love letter nor a love song. Just something I wrote when my thoughts were incomplete. Like us in the dark dancing with another's bodies to keep heat. One in a million you are as the stars shine upon me so sweet. If only you were mine I'd keep you as a safe haven for me. Keep you close and call you names of ungodly things. You're of beautiful red and rose but dead like the midnight sky reeks. It is your secrets I keep. Invested in me like a dybbuk harboring evils that have no mean.
