that  sounds  frustrating.   {  resting  his  chin  on  top  of  his  open  palm,  calcifer  watched  the  stranger’s  pacing,  eyes  honeyed  in  deep  amber,  one  step  behind  like  a  shadow.  exhausted.  rumpled.  and  tethering  towards  defeat.  a  pitiful,  unrefined  sight  that  made  the  shadows  of  the  room  feel  even  heavier.  
            
            but  he  didn’t  cower  away.  instead,  he  offered  a  small,  comforting  smile  that  peeked  just  above  his  curled  fingers.  }   well,  here  you  can  clean  up  the  grime  evidently  gathering  around  your  soul  and  relax  with  some  tea  that  will  do  you  good.  what  do  you  say?

the elemental being seemed to be careful with everything. staying away from parchment or books. anything that can cath flame too easily. clearly not belonging to this world. he'd place down a gem. a red emerald with a crack through it. golden banding held it together still with very small etchings all along the gold. an enchantment that has been broken either by immense force or another spell to take it apart.
            
            " it helps to seal away my fire or the intensity of it, at least. better than the potions I have to keep taking now. makes travel easier when you're not lighting fires all over. " and not exactly magic his people liled to deal with. sealing flame was rather taboo for very obvious reasons. he only ised it for travel though.

            *      thorne could feel the strange presence before the stranger had even reached his shop    .    ears flattened to his head    ,    eyes darting to claws of the other   .    he was always told to help   -   never to judge another by their looks   .    but there was something about them that put the cat on edge  ,     black fur on his tail raising     .    he maintained composed   ,    stiffening as the other approached    *   it depends     .     we do have some mending and restoring spells    ,     but outcomes may vary depending on the object     .

the door groaned, not from weight or even force. the wood nearly retracted from the sudden heat pressed on the other side. but as quickly as it came, it went. not enough to damage anything, at least. given a short moment, the handle turned as the door opened. blackened claws that seemed to avoid as much contact as possible. ember eye glance around the shop before spotting someone else. not taking his time to look around, just going straight to the counter. molten strands float as if he were underwater. gold and giving off a clear firey light.
