Hello, happy new year everyone. It’s been a long time since i’ve opened this app. i’m shocked to still see people reading and showing activity to this day to the story. I want to say it’s been over a year since I began writing it, and I enjoyed writing it greatly. When I began writing the story I was much younger, and a lot of major topics mentioned were from my own personal experiences. As I continued to write I realized I didn’t want to hold those hurtful memories with me, and began to notice how draining it was to go through it again while writing. Writing the emotions, the scenes, it was so hard. I didn’t want to put myself in a dark place again, but I still continued to write. I thought it was something I could write about, but every time I looked back at the chapters everything flooded back to me. I didn’t want to have the reminder of it every time I opened the story. I didn’t want something that used to bring me joy, give me such a negative impact. So I stopped, and focused on myself so I could try later on and write, maybe even change the whole thing up so you guys could be satisfied. But i can’t, I tried. I have many documents of my efforts but it’s not enough. So as of now, there will be no continuation of The Slytherin Roommates. It’s been ages since i’ve updated, and I have received tons of messages of people asking when I will update. I’m sorry to cut it off short, but to me I enjoy writing and didn’t want something like this to ruin it. I apologize, and I know some of you just want to see the story and don’t care about everything I have wrote in this message but I simply cannot finish the story. There wasn’t much of it left, I know what I was supposed to write, maybe one day i’ll post the ending just to make myself feel better but as of now, it’s over. My apologies, I wish everyone who has read this far a safe, healthy, and warm new year.
