Artist Bio
AR Jung is a children's book author, educator and graphic illustrator and her work is always about empowering children. Her focus is on self esteem building and creativity- fostering joy and inner strength in kids. She also believes strongly in diversity, equity and inclusion.
A.R. is a kid at heart. She is very into the eclectic and the whimsical- as long as it has an element of #STEM with a scary twist running through it. She is an amateur folklorist and lover of myth and fairytale.
A.R. is the author of the Velveteen Rabbit retelling, THE GIRL BEHIND THE MAGIC and lives in Texas with her husband, daughter and two rescues. She is a returned Peace Corps ESL teacher from Uzbekistan, Central Asia and taught 8th grade creative writing in Houston.
