I am a published author of literary fiction who enjoys writing Tolkien fanfiction.

I mainly use The Lord of the Rings Appendices, The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales as my source material but I write with the premise that the chroniclers of those histories may have erroneously or intentionally misrepresented actual events. History is written by the victors, as they say.

In keeping with Tolkien, there are a lot of names in my work. I recommend Tolkien Gateway for all your glossary needs.
