Omg nothing erks me more when a character in a series/movie/book has a name that does not match the vibe of the rest of the series/movie/book.
It is such a pet peeve of mine.
ESPECIALLY IN FANFICTION. What d'you mean you are naming your 1000+ year old Asgardian Alien Goddess OC Ashley, or Brooklyn. Etc...

@astorybysarah I actually didn’t know that it was still used in Scandinavia till this date!!! Woowww!!! That is probably one of the things I really love about your books. How much time you spend on all the research you do for your books. Some writers just write things that are not cannon complacent…as in the way they speak in period dramas and such! But the point still stands that L.J. Smith really needed to do better research before they actually published the book first. The names did not make sense!!! Fanfics where they call Ayana a Bennet just feels so wrong or when they the Tatia Petrova…Like what?!?! Tatia had a totally different surname.
@lazy_ass31 [Name]dottir might not be common in America but it is used throughout Scandinavia today. So it would've still worked since they're supposed to be Scandinavian. It's not a "Viking tradition only" as Viking was just an occupation, a job. It just means daughter in Icelandic. It was used by everyone throughout Scandinavia, to identify who you were.

But I kinda understand the Mikaelson part as that is a surname that is easier to blend in considering Mikaelsdottir is not a name you see after like 18th century at the latest. I mean there is Colson, etc but no dottir as that was a Viking tradition only. But yeah they should have had the name Mikaelsdottir atleast in the flashbacks.
So, I have taken down several fanfictions, I did not like the direction that they were going and it was really starting to proper stress me out.

He saw Gale kiss Katniss and screamed at the TV that he's had enough of the love triangle. He does not like Gale.
He likes Katniss. He needs her to start kicking some Capitol arse though.
He is confused at how Effie changes her appearance so quickly. She scares him no joke
He finds Joanna & Haymitch to be hilarious.
He nearly cried when Cinna died and now he wants everyone in the Capitol to dìe cos of it. I felt so bad for him lol. Omg and Mags. He was so sad that this 80+ year old woman was in the games.
