Heartbeat Update: Chapter dropping. Lovingly, I say - you're so screwed    
          
          Y'all remember the list of suspicious research topics from all the way back in January? None of them were for this newest chapter. Why mention it at all? Oh yeah, because I know some of y'all are fast asleep in your time zones, and I know how much a few of you love waking up to an update when you have no time to read it ;) Actually, it's just timing - but have a good day!
          
          Chapter dropping in 30 - I've been waiting ages for this one, so I can't wait to see your...activity in the chapter.

Heartbeat Update: Major Edit to Prev. Chapter
          
          Just an FYI announcement. Unfortunately, not announcing a new chapter yet, but a major fix that I've been working on for chapter 31: Water since before it was published. With some other plot things finalized, I was able to more firmly update the chapter, starting with the newly bolded paragraph to the end.
          
          Check it out if you like! Not necessary for the rest of the story, but potentially a giggle or two.

Heartbeat Update: 
          
          If you haven't already, peep the new chapter! There were like a million versions of this chapter, and I say this with all the love in the world - I hope it makes y'all so nervous. Only because I've been alone in these feelings for months, and now you get a taste of it with this newest chapter.
          
          I'm hoping it'll keep me so excited that all I can do is write for the next chapter. I made a playlist to help, and the songs together are just too freaking ominous.
          
          Thank you also to those who reached out/commented to check in on the update -- when I don't respond ASAP, it's because I saw it and went, "I can totally finish it today," so then I can respond with - "look what's up!" Which is, 80% of the time, way too bold. So, thank you, it does mean a lot.

Heartbeat Update: 
          
          It has been WAY too long since my last update, and I'm not even going to try to guesstimate how long till the next chapters just in case. The thing is, I'm essentially writing two/three chapters all at once because they need to be in sync and tight. Which has been oddly difficult.
          
          I'm too tempted to give you guys a teaser, but I can't risk it, so here's a list of the more suspicious topics I've spent the last two months researching for this story. Gonna be so positive y'all:

          I was also wondering if it’s mentioned or stated whether saffiya knows about Chelsea’s ability to manipulate emotional ties and whether that’s been used on her?

Heartbeat Update: Unofficial chapter, FYI 
          
          I'm gonna be posting an unofficial chapter in a few minutes, but it is not the NEXT chapter. I really need to put material out because Alec's a dick, so I had to write out an entire scene to address details that Alec picked up, but Saffiya wasn't supposed to. Thus, details you're unfamiliar with. I'm not quite sure how to address it yet or if it will need to be melded into the story somehow, so I decided to actually share the chapter with you guys.
          
          I'd just like to say, that even if I planned this entire book out differently and didn't post chapter by chapter, I 100% have no doubt this same thing would have happened. You're stuck with me until you get bored, I'm sorry.
          
          Oh yeah, to clarify, you'll be getting a surprise official chapter from Alec's P.O.V. I've been working on it in tandem with the others and just haven't told you guys yet.
