i don't have a best friend i have a fran
fran reminds me at least once a week that they are going to marry my brother to become part of my family. fran listens to me rant about the 100000 crushes for hours and swears that one of them is ginger no matter how many times i tell her none of them are. fran always listens to the playlists i make her even though she hardly ever uses spotify because she knows how much music means to me.
fran likes the fact that i never shut up and doesn’t mind when i randomly start playing the ukulele on our calls. fran always take pictures of me at the wrong moments but never shares them with anyone else because they know how embarrassed i’d be. fran doesn't just "not mind" when i randomly start ranting about phoebe bridgers; they listen even though they know nothing about her. fran always tells me that i'm a good friend and makes sure that i know that i’m loved and respected.
so yeah, i think that everyone should have a fran because i don’t know what i’d do without her.
