@belajamison okay i just read your newest book, and i have some feed back. i noticed that you tend to have run on sentences, and when there is dialogue, there’s not much punctuation. something to prevent run on sentences is to really pay attention to sentences. for an example: “Namjoon bought Jin’s company making sure family was taken care of and Jin was able to do whatever he wanted instead of being stuck in a boring meeting with people he hated.” this sentence is a very long run on sentence. there are no commas, and commas are rests in between sentences to make it easier to understand everything easier. a better way to word this sentence is like this: Namjoon bought Jin’s company, making sure family was taken care of. Jin was able to do whatever he wanted, instead of being stuck in a boring meeting, with people he hated.
see how much easier it is to read? you’d be out of breath after the sentence you made, and commas help. Sometimes you have to split run on sentences into different one or else it would get to long. commas are very important because in some instances it would be weird, if let’s say in the story someone said “Let’s eat Yoongi.” It would make you sense to say “Let’s eat, Yoongi.” comas are very important and it’d improve your writing. i really like the plot of “Stories To Tell” and i hope what i’d said would help ❤️
i hope it’s not too long, i just wanted to add all that if you didn’t understand what was wrong
