Hello! 안녕하세요! I'm Jessalyn, a Christian author who takes inspiration from faith, fairytales, and Asian cultures. 
An Arizona native who grew up surrounded by Asian media, it had a big influence on me growing up. The first country I fell for was Japan, with the romantic sakura trees and the kawaii bento making. As I got older I discovered K-drama and K-pop and lately Korean food as well. Currently I'm studying the Korean language, making the food, and exploring the culture from the comfort of my living room. 
As a girl who has never traveled outside of the United States I decided my stories would be my passport and in them you and I can explore. 
All my current projects have a distinctly Asian flare and I hope that in them I can come to showcase the people I have fallen in love with. 
The real star of my writing though is not the cultures, but the faith that through it all provides a glue and a bridge for my characters to relate over, no matter how different their growing up was. Christ is at the heart of all my stories, because he is at my heart (and in my heart) as well. 
When I'm not writing, cooking, or crying over the latest plot twists in a K-drama with my mom and sister, you can find me enjoying my cozy home and yard, watching puppy videos, or reading children's books.
