just a note on 'things you don't know'. it's loosely based on an irl friendship i had in high school, and we did communicate through letters and he did drop me like a fly when he got a girlfriend.
          	
          	there was someone moaning and groaning about the happy ending in part three. (jokes on you babe, the story was written back in march!) and guess what, irl, i didn't get that happy ending. i haven't been in touch with this person for almost 18 years. so i'm not sorry for writing my characters getting their happy ending.
          	
          	all this to say is, i wrote this fic because it was therapeutic for me. so i'm not going to change my ending just because it doesn't suit someone else's needs to have everyone else be unhappy. don't project your feelings onto my story.

@Tiffaknee13 me too! Things You Don't Know was never supposed to have 3 parts. It was going to end at part 1 (which was an ambiguous ending!) but I thought these characters deserved some happiness after years of pining.

I personally sometimes like happy endings more especially if they’re done well. Don’t mind a sad ending but you can’t always have a sad ending in a romance story like Holly said, the reason people read them is because they want the couple to come out on the other end happy.

@btsgotjams27 lmao me with you up? -- we write the happy endings we didn't get!! plus to qualify as a romance story, it has to have a happy ending. literally a rule of the genre!! 
          	  your stories are yours!! not everything is for everyone and if anyone ever finds themselves not enjoying something, maybe they should take it as a sign to simply stop reading!!

@btsgotjams27 wow they can still delete them even when unpublished?? I’ve noticed they delete one-shots if there’s too much smut they consider ‘explicit’- did your oneshots have a lot of smut?
