Happy Pride Month! Even if you aren't out of the closet yet because of family or an unsupportive environment, know that there are thousands of people waiting with open arms for you as soon as you ram down that door. Even if you aren't ready now, know that people will always be there. To the transgender people out there who are told that they are being 'irrational' and are doing it 'for attention' your identity matters. That applies to everyone. Even just questioning people deserve to have their friends and family support. To all the people who get called at and attacked on the street, know that while people may stand against you, thousands more stand with you. And to all the Allies, thank you for being so supportive to friend, relatives, and neighbors.
Remember Stonewall. We would not be here today if it weren't for those brave people. They paved the road that we are walking on today. They built bridges over the chasms and that we were stuck at, and would still be stuck at today.
So remember. Love is love. You are valid. Everyone matters. We will not be silenced. We are here, and we are queer
