The maid gave her a knowing smile before Jae started to walk across the living room to the large stairs. It was a brief time where Jae could collect her thoughts on what to say to Skye once she finally talks to him. Too brief for Jae. She found herself outside his bedroom door. She pressed her head to the door, trying to make out what was happening on the other side but she couldn’t hear anything.
After mustering up her courage, she knocked. “Skye? It’s Jae.”
