I know I'm late, but Happy Pride Month! Here's a short poem to make up for it:
          
          I never knew
          What had befallen me
          Only my sexuality
          That couldn’t be defined
          
          I never knew
          That the world could be as cruel
          As it’s been to me and you
          And our kind
          
          But as long as we stick together
          Have each other's backs
          Now and forever
          Show the world
          That just because
          We love a little differently
          
          Doesn’t give you a right 
          To stick the labels on
          
          Because we’ll tear them right off

Hey, so, I landed an editing gig for the story "How Far I'll Go" (a HP fanfic) on fanfiction.net by ColinCreevey222 who adopted it from Batmanfan12. If you're into well-done, ongoing resurrection fanfics that focus on minor characters and give them the spotlight as well as a brilliant group dynamic and appearances by the adorable Teddy Lupin, I'd recommend it!

          It ends at 2nd year, so not a complete cliffhanger by any means. If you can stomach some small-moderate (but mostly small) spelling and grammar errors as well as a bigger focus on dialogue, I'd definitely check it out! I may also become editor on this as well, depending on circumstances. Both stories focus on the Creevey brothers, some of the most underutilized characters in the Harry Potter franchise, and really give them a new dimension, so yeah, be sure to give them a go!
          
          But really, other than to promote these beautiful stories, I also have to say that the entire point of this was to let you guys know that I'll probably no longer be as active on here, although I'll try to check things every day to see how they're going. So, yeah, it's not goodbye...just "See you later". Anyways, it's getting late, and I still have school (ugh) tomorrow, so see you later!

          I'm sorry I haven't been updating for a few months. I'm not sure when I will. I'd rather tell you guys that honestly than give you false hope. I'm hoping to start up again soon, but... my grandfather just died. He was an integral part of my life. For half my school years, I would come home to him and his bus. Let me put it this way: I saw him about the same amount of time as my own father. My grandmother is taking it hard, as is my mom and her boyfriend. My brother doesn't know what to do: this is his first loss. I'm the one trying to keep everything together, but I can't, and it's the worst feeling in the world.
          
          So yeah. I'm hoping to update soon, but there's no guarantee. I hope you understand. No, scratch that. I have more faith in you guys than I'm letting on.
          
          Because I know you will.

So...our school flooded this weekend...the entire middle school wing is under construction to repair the damage. And guess who's part of the middle school wing...yep. At least we didn't lose the library. Buuuutttt now we have to go ALL THE WAY AROUND the school instead of just walking through the side door like usual to get to classes...so that's nice...should be usable in two weeks...wish me luck guys.
