Update on assessments for ADHD and ASD: I was diagnosed formally with ADHD (inattentive type) and High Functioning Asperger’s.
          
          What this means is that I will now undergo additional care by my current therapist, and through the state. I will be attending Behavioral Vocational Rehabilitation to improve on the skills that I struggle with, while the state specialists assist me in finding a job that is tailored towards my accommodations for my disabilities.
          
          I am also going to be seeing a psychiatrist for medications, as what I was previously prescribed seemed to be more focused towards those with more neurotypical aspects.
          
          So what does this mean in terms of my account? Well I’m not leaving, I’ll be writing here and there with maybe a couple updates, but my updates will remain inconsistent.
          
          I really do appreciate everyone’s patience and love for my stories, it means so much to me.
          
          I do have a huge project underway, it’s gonna be my first official original story. And I hope it’ll be published as a physical book someday.
          
          But yeah, that’s a life update :)

Hello,
          
          Grieving is difficult, and I’m still struggling to heal.
          
          But I found that writing lyrics and poems in a notebook has really helped me.
          
          In other news, I’m going to be seeing a specialist to do some assessments and testing to further identify my every day struggles and see if I have any behaviors of Adult ADD/ADHD, as per the request of my therapist.
          
          This will not change anything about me, this is to further help me mentally and to help me get the care I need to continue functioning as an adult.
          
          So that’s the update, thank you all for sticking around, I promise I will try to get more works out after I end this hiatus. Granted it will remain at an infrequent rate.

Hey all, it’s Cori.
          
          So, as inactive as I have been, I’m actually going on a hiatus.
          
          We had to put down my dog, Rosie, today (May 16, 2022) as she had started developing heart problems from a terrible case of chronic pancreatitis. The vet believes she had a heart attack from her hemorrhaging bloody stool, and from that, Rosie started having irregular heart beats. A lethal arrhythmia. So we had to make the really difficult decision to put her down, for her own benefit.
          
          I’ve had her in my life since I was 11-12 years old, Rosie was 6 weeks when we adopted her. It’s been 10 wonderful years with her. She turned 10 on May 5th this year.
          
          She has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, for she is no longer in pain, she is at peace.
          
          But yeah, I need to take a long needed break from my duties here, I need time to grieve and work through this loss. It’s not easy to lose a pet that you loved so dearly.
          
          The length of my hiatus is undetermined, I need as much time as I can in this time.

So, here’s an update:
          
          I’ve been working so much since March, I’m currently working through some really tough situations but I’m growing stronger because of it.
          
          I’ve been playing a lot of New Horizons since August, as of right now, I’ve finally completed my fossil exhibit and I’m really enjoying the new update!

I’m not gonna lie to y’all, but I’m really struggling with trying to write on a consistent schedule.
          
          Corrana’s story is taking forever to write, and I can’t get started on the sequel because Corrana’s is a prequel.
          
          I’m kinda stuck, but I think I’ll get through this.
