February-March 2018 Developement Report

          Chapter: Characters in General & Updates
          
          I didn't make a development report for February by itself  because of technology issues.
          This month I would like to talk about my characters in my story, more specifically my main character.
          Kristina is REALLY weird, not going to lie. Whether it would be her actions or her jokes, she never seems to act her age. This is for 1 reason,
          1) I wanted to preserve the original story that 8 year old me made.
          
          So, Kristina has the jokes 8 year old me found funny.
          I've been tweaking this character's physical appearence a little so if you find a description of Kristina that was written before 2/11/18 that information may be wrong.
          Other characters that will become important to the story will either come in later in the story or are all ready in the story and need to be developed.

January 2018 Development Report

          Chapter:  Just the story's progress in general 
          
          I want you guys to pretend this came out on the 19th instead of the 31st ( At least it is still January ).
          My progress on my story has been slow. Progress has been made even though it took forever. That little bit of progress took up so much of my time I totally forgot to write the report until now.
          Here is my progress:
          For my New Years Resolution I decided to try and improve on my writing. I tried to get better at setting up a mood and linking up details together, so I really haven't touched Wattpad in a month or so. I  also want to improve on developing characters instead of just dumping a character on you guys. I must say, I have gotten a little bit better at writing but not by a lot. 
          Another one of my New Years Resolution is to edit my chapters better. After writing a chapter I get so tired I just want to go to bed so my chapters are sometimes a mess of spelling errors. I will try to go over every chapter multiple time to make sure it is ready to be uploaded before I actually upload it. 
          I haven't answered any messages, not because I am ignoring you, because I have logged on in forever.I will reply.
          
          Enough about me saying how I will improve on my story so you guys can enjoy it, I would like to talk about the people who liked and enjoyed my story! Like I said before, I haven't touched Wattpad in a month  so I hadn't check my story at all. So when I logged on I was in for a huge suprise when I saw A War Built On Lies had almost 500 reads and about 70 votes. I never expected my story to become this huge. I remember being 8 and wanting to post my story online so people can enjoy a story I held near to my heart and today I am happy that almost 500 of you took the time to even read my story. It really means a lot to me that you guys even clicked on my story. So I would like to end this report with 2 words:

December 2017 Development Report
          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
          Chapter: Explain To Me
          
          After another month of effort I bring you guys another short chapter. "A MONTH OF EFFORT FOR A 1,708 WORD CHAPTER?!?!?! WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?!?!?!?"
          Here's what happened. In order to make this chapter flow more easily I decided to write the story on paper first before I typed it out. Keep in mind this is the chapter I had trouble writing a month ago and had to split into two chapters, so I had to write it down on paper in order for this chapter to make sense. Me writing it down on paper was why it took so long for me to update, I wanted the story to flow smoothly. I promised myself to update before the development report and I kept that promise. So, even though I just updated a minute ago, I was working hard on my story.
          
          I felt kinda bad for giving you a short chapter after such a long wait. I tried making up for the lenght by putting in more details and it was pretty hard to do. I had to do research on the brain and had to apply that to all the chemicals and technology used. I had to go to multiple websites for information so if you see information on a website that looks almost word for word to the information given in my story don't be alarmed and start saying that I am stealing from websites. I do not mean to try and steal their work.
          
          I will say this again, I USED WEBSITES TO EXPLAIN HOW THE CHEMICALS WORK IN THE BRAIN. I  MAY HAVE USED SOME OF THE SAME WORDS AS THE WEBSITES, BUT I DIDN'T COPY COMPLETELY. I TRIED TO USE MY OWN WORDS, BUT SOMETIMES I COULDN'T, I DO NOT MEAN TO PLAGIARIZE. 
          
          I hope this chapter answered a lot of the questions you have. This chapter went over,
          *How Kristina can see Ansel*
          *What is the sphere object and what does it do*
          *How does Ansel know so much*
          *How she ended up in the coma*
          *How did the fire not kill her*
          , and many other questions.
          
          I hope you liked my newest chapter and can't wait to see the next one! :)

Ok, I realize I said I am back to frequent updates but haven't had any recent updates. I wanted to try and make this chapter as good as possible by writing it down on paper THEN typing it out. I should have the chapter out no later than December 19th, just in time for the development report.

November 2017 Development Report

          Chapter: Playing With Electricity
          
          After months of work, determination, editing, and typing, I bring you a... 693 word chapter. A month of work, for a 693 word chapter... what happened?
          Okay, here is the reason why the chapter is so short.
          
          On October 29th, 2017, I made a post about how hard it was for me to create a chapter. Everytime I wrote, words would not flow properly. I never could write a chapter that made sense. Everything I wrote was garbage and ended up being deleted. During this time, I was extremely busy too. So, I didn't really have a lot of time to work on it. So, with 0 energy, 0 time, and 0 ideas I was stuck in a hole for months. One night, I was looking over the trash I had wrote and I read the first 4 paragraphs or so. It wasn't complete trash, it was decent at least. So then I got a great idea. Instead of writing a large chapter, I could write a small chapter first, just to give my readers something, and later I could make a longer and better chapter. So, I split the chapter into fourths and only kept the first 1/4. The other 3/4 would become a different chapter. This way I could focus on a smaller piece and make it good instead of writing a large piece and have the ideas and points not fit together.I rewrote the first part and gave it more details, descriptions, and made it longer. I think I did a pretty good job at giving the reader a mental picture of what the holo-projector looked like. 
          
          Speaking of descriptions, this is the part of the story where things will get described and things will start to make sense. I understand that my story isn't the best at describing and it gets confusing at times, but I will try to make better descriptions. After the next chapter or two, I will start introducing new characters and THAT is when the real story begins. As for more information about characters and storyline, you're just going to have to wait and see. ;)

I just published a chapter after months! :D I am so sorry that you guys waited so long for an update, but hey, it's here! I will explain why the chapter is short and other things in a development report. "What's a development report?", you may ask. Well let me explain.
          
          I have come up with an idea that will help you stay up to date on what's going on in the story, help you understand why a chapter is how it is,  hear my plans for the next chapter, and even answer some questions you may have. These will come out monthly, the 19th of every month. These reports will help with the development of the story and make things more understandable. The reports will be split up into how many chapters I created in a month, explaining each chapter. The development reports may or may not contain spoilers for the chapters I cover, so you may want to read the chapters before looking at the report.
          
          I hope you guys like the idea of these reports and I hope they help you analyze the story better. : ) The first development report will come out today so read, "Playing With Electricity", if you want to know what I'm talking about.

I am soooooo sorry for not updating. : ) Trust me, I have been working on my story but one or all of these things happen.
          
          1). I get writers block
          2). I write complete trash and delete it.
          3). The story makes no sense.
          4). The storyline is jagged ( If that makes any sense. )
          5). I have no motivation and/or energy
          6). I have a lot of work to do.
          
          I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me and I really don't mind, " Plz update." comments. They give me motivation to write. : )

That was amazing and terrifying. Im glad you pointed out the changes friends and family can see. I know that doing nothing never helps. I personally believe that we need Jesus in our lives.
