I’ve actually not been writing fanfic recently because I’m in solidarity without the writers strike and not because I’m too lazy and I’m rotting in bed everyday after work promise 

Hi gays 
          
          Today as a joke i decided to test chatGPTs capabilities to write stories. I’ve heard a lot about it and I work in a university so I wanted to test how far it could go to create a piece of work. 
          
          So I asked it write me a cruella fanfiction. It wrote me one that was almost certainly plagiarising MY OWN FANFICTION!!!!! I’m really unhappy about it. (I suspect it’s pulled aspects from other peoples work too as it wasn’t entirely mine.) 
          
          My friend was the one who noticed it first, when she mentioned that it was written in a  style that I would write, and then there were a few storyline details that was familiar to one of the chapters I wrote in evergreen. 
          
          I worked hard on my fanfic, even though they aren’t the best literary works,  this is pretty disheartening to see. It’s disingenuous for it to take my work when I spent hours writing it. People are generating ChatGPT and AI fanfiction all the time now and it makes me feel like my work is not only being taken advantage of but also like there isn’t much point in me creating it. 
          
          Please don’t use ChatGPT to consume fanfiction if you value those creators who are actually spending hours writing these stories. 

I think I’m posting this evening. I think i have  a bit more to write and then steal your heart part 3 will be up

I’m the worst because I’ve not written anything these past few months and now I’m going through a pretty complicated emotional break up of a situationship. Anyway I do really wanna write as therapy so I am going to try to this week.

          Gonna write tonight to celebrate 

          
          I hope everyone had a nice Christmas if you celebrated it. I just accepted an offer for a real job lol, it’s 9-5 ( and I’ll probably stay working there until April/may and unless I absolutely hate it) so I will be working on planning a regular writing schedule to fit around my 9-5 job. It’s probably likely that I’ll be writing on Friday nights and posting on weekends from the new year. 
          
          Tonight I will be writing the next part of my current one shot, and then I have a few planned for the upcoming weeks. 
          
          Thank you for bearing with me these past few weeks things haven’t been easy recently but I’m gonna try my best to get things sorted out and start posting for you all because I love writing I find it very therapeutic and a nice escape.
