Forgive my 3AM thoughts. I am just bothered by how the society today have turned into a toxic, pessimistic, and exhausting community. Have you heard of the word, ULTRACREPIDARIAN? They are individuals who express their opinions on matters outside the scope of their knowledge or expertise. Hmmm. In today's society, it has become all too common for individuals to pass negative judgments on things they do not fully understand. Everyone has an opinion on everything, regardless of their level of expertise or knowledge on the subject. The rise of social media has only exacerbated this issue, as it allows for the instant dissemination of opinions and judgments to a wide audience. With just a few clicks, anyone can share their thoughts on a topic, whether they have taken the time to research and understand it or not. This has created a culture of knee-jerk reactions and snap judgments, where the loudest voices often overshadow those who have taken the time to educate themselves on a subject. One of the most concerning aspects of this trend is the impact it has on our society as a whole. When individuals are quick to criticize and condemn things they do not understand, it can lead to a lack of empathy and understanding among people. This can create a toxic environment where differing opinions are not valued, and open dialogue is stifled. It can perpetuate stereotypes and misinformation, leading to division and conflict among groups of people. It can also prevent progress and innovation, as new ideas are dismissed before they have a chance to be fully explored. In order to combat this trend, it is essential that we encourage a culture of curiosity and open-mindedness. However, even that is an arduous task. Lol.

Hi Blue! It’s been a while and as always, your thoughts are highly appreciated. Most of the time, I don’t care what’s happening in my peripheries (either in real life or virtual) but there are days that it frustrates and irks me that I care a lot. I wish I could just bin them out, like you said, but I can’t just ignore it. I typically ignore social media, been busy with lots of more important things. But at the same time, I need to be informed of the current events, as it relates to my new life now. So I cannot just deflect or dodged them, even if I want to. Haha. Thanks for the quote. It’s not the uncertainties of tomorrow that takes away my joy, it is the high probabilities of happening in the days to come, that left me anxious. No harness or fence can save you from the void, when it calls for you. But don’t worry, I can still ignore it. Haha. It’s really nice to hear from you again. Be safe always. Hope things are better at your end.

Wow 3am thoughts can really mess up your circadian rhythm if you’re not careful lol. Thought provoking nevertheless same as the rest of your previous entries. Nowadays I am a self proclaimed savant for compartmentalising things according to the ones I do care about and the things that I really don’t need in my life right now- I just bin them out- out there into oblivion. Disinformation and big empty chats, I am able to dodge and deflect like Neo to the bullets oops sorry bad bad spur of the moment logic lol. Pardon moi. I try to avoid social media full stop, as it is becoming a petri dish for fomenting considerable polarisation among other things that don’t necessarily make us more human. As introvert as I am, I try to socialise more and have a good chat and banter with friends and colleagues. I find that it’s more personal and meaningful. More like a life outside social media the old fashion way where you can lay all your cards on the table or.. not. And finally.. I’d like to cap off this unsolicited convo with a quote that isn’t mine but had inspired me: Don’t let the uncertainties of tomorrow take away the joy of today. Regards and I hope that there’s always a safety harness for whenever your void calls. We are silently reading all your notes and rest assure that a lot of times we cannot formulate a moment worthy reply.
