          Chapter 6 is out!
          
          I had a burst of inspiration and motivation tonight so I finished all the editing I wanted to do and published the chapter. This chapter definitely opens up a few more questions. Who is Fish-man? What did he do to Maddie? Why is he so indifferent? I guess you'll just have to read and find out haha.

          Just checking in to let you guys know that chapter 6 of TSS is pretty close to being done! It's pretty rough at the moment, so I'll probably take a few days to iron it out and fix her up. So keep your eyes peeled over the next week for a long-awaited update!

Hello again!
          
          I've been feeling a little guilty about not having a fresh update for you guys, so I'll give you a lil sneak peak of what's to come!

          My eyes widen even further as I register what I’m actually looking at. A tail. Like a fish. Scales and all. I slowly move back in the water, putting distance between myself and this fish-man.
          
          “What the hell is that?” My voice shakes as I raise a trembling arm to point at his tail. 
          
          “My tail?” Fish-man responds, his eyebrows creased together. His arms cross themselves over his chest, his face holding a small smirk. 
          
          “Tail. Right. You have a tail. Totally normal. Not weird at all. Nup, not at all,” I whisper to myself as I move further into the depths of the ocean. 
          
          “If you think that’s weird, maybe you should look down,” Fish-man’s smirk widens at my alarmed but curious expression. “Go on, don’t be a clownfish.”
          
          And against my better judgement, I concede to his teasing and look down. My heart just about stops.

Hi all,
          
          I hope everyone has been well in the last few weeks. 
          
          Sadly, this isn't an announcement to say that the next chapter is up, and I apologise for that. This is just a quick message to let you guys know where I'm at currently.
          
          As I predicted and dreaded, university got hectic hella quick, and I'm currently trudging along slowly. It is because of my increased work load that updates to TSS have pretty much halted. And, it pains me to say this, but they probably won't pick up again until the year/semester finishes.
          
          With that being said, the good news is that the end of semester is only 5 weeks away! I'm hoping that once most of my assessment is knocked over I will be able to start writing and updating again. I do, however, plan to do things a little differently when I return. In preparation for the next busy period in my life, I'm going to try and stockpile some chapters as to prevent a long period of time where I have not updated TSS. While some might argue I'm a fast writer, my chapters are considerably longer than some others on wattpad, so we will have to wait and see how long it actually takes me to build up this stockpile. 
          
          Anyway, thank you so much to the people who have stuck with me while I've been busy. I promise that I will return soon! (I may or may not be working on a cheeky chapter now)
