Hux looked a little more tired and worn down than he had years prior- back before the First Order fell. He’d grown some grey in his hair, but it was peppered throughout, so it wasn’t as noticeable as if it had been in streaks. He had smile lines, which was odd, because he’d never smiled in the Order.
Armitage wore a strange contraption over his clothes. It was a double sided sling that he wore so each pouch was over a hip. In the pouches were two toddlers, one boy and one girl. They looked almost exactly like their grandfather and they most certainly had their hair. They were both asleep right now, and Hux rubbed their backs gently.
“It’s been a long time...”
