David, is not your run of the mill Asian kid.
At least, that's what he likes to think.

Actually, David, or Edrich, as he most commonly goes by, is rather unconventional in the way that he looks and thinks.
Not that he has a peculiar hairstyle or choice of clothing, no. Quite the opposite.
You'll see him wearing a dark T-Shirt, black jeans and leather boots, on most occasions. .
Though it may seem strange, he will stubbornly wear his signature outfit regardless of weather.
He likes to be as forgettable as possible. He strives to be "the grey man".
But, amongst a vast crowd of relatively short, Thobe clad , sandal wearing turban wielding individuals, he hopelessly stands out, like a drop of ink on a stark white canvas.

Despite being a rather complicated man, he loves the simplest things, the littlest of details.

With his idiosyncratic ideas and opinions, he fancies himself smart.
And maybe he is. 
But at the end of the day, he sees himself making bad decisions as often as making great ones.
