@hardyboysclub81 Thank you! The clues are also in Behind Closed Doors, especially the last chapter. There's a hint of it when Sayaka goes into the lake when her eyes glow. Any natural body of water, she doesn't react in chlorinated water like in the indoor pool in the manor where she first drowns. The gems/crystals they ingest is actually drawn from Filipino folklore then I just added a twist to it. But in our culture, a stone that is ingested usually is a heritage from what we call "aswang" or werewolf and "tikbalang" folklore you can research that online. We also have amulets called "anting-anting" but they serve as protection from bullets. Blessings!
