@SecretMae We can be friends if you like. I'm not sure if I can be the best judg a good writer but I can attempt to impart upon you some of the wisdom I've learned and what I've heard from other established authors. I know if asking kids' advice for writing tips is such a good idea... but considering that it's somewhat likely that a kid who posts his/her stories here will get their work published before me, perhaps there is still a lot more to learn.

@dmkoehler Yeah everyone can learn something new. Nobody knows everything. I was merely pointing out that I would rather have people who have wrote for years and had a lot more experience (such as adults) give me advice over kids. I have seen a lot of kids with an awesome talent and can do better grammar and spelling then me. But thats just my opinion lol. I usually don't ask for advice on my style of writing. However, if someone points out a grammar or spelling mistake I am thankful because I am not so good in that department. lol. So have you ever published anything or ever want to?

@dmkoehler I, like you, try to do a bit of all the genre's. However I only have one of my ongoing stories on here. The rest are sitting on a file in my documents or in a notebook of mine. I post poetry up and I have a short story I put together a while back that I originally posted on my website.

I do tend to write more about romance, fantasy and adventure. Although I cannot control which idea's I get. Who knows what the next idea will be. lol.

I don't think that there is any clubs on here for adults but there should be! I would love to ask for advice on my writing but I am scared because so many kids on here. I am sure you understand? Getting out of one's comfort zone in writing is hard to do. It takes patience and perhaps research depending on the plot,. I wish you good luck with that. Well if you want you and I could be friends on here. You are 26 right? I am 25.

@SecretMae I don't have a specific genre that I attempt to appease. I write what comes most natural to me. I like stories where the main characters in it have something about them that sets them apart from the rest of humanity. The most difficult part about uploading stories to this website is deciding what genre I want my stories to fall into. Like "The Memoriam" for example. Or "The Month of June". But since I rarely ever feel the need to express myself romantically in my writing, there likely won't be any romance stories.

What about you? Do you have a genre preference?

I like the idea of seeking out adults on a website dominated by kids. Are there any clubs with adults in mind or any discussion boards perhaps?

I'm doing pretty well with my writing so far. I'm hoping that after getting a few random bits of feedback from people I don't know I might grow a bit in that department and step out of my comfort zone.

Hey it looks like you have a lot of stories up here. What genre do you like to write about best? I saw you on the wattpad clubs and I agree that there is lots of teens on here. I often try to seek out the adults. How are you?
