Vent — My birthday is a month and one day away (as of now, it is November 5th for me). However, my ‘friend’ can’t help but talk over me when I even try to remotely mention it. I’ll try to make plans and set things up and it’s always, “oh well, at my birthday in late January; we’re all going to be doing *insert activities that I don’t feel like sharing*. Oh btw, have you gotten my gift yet?” It’s just so emotionally exhausting to be around people who don’t let me share anything but then double back and get mad when I stop talking. I thought that because I moved it’d be different, but clearly not. I might not even celebrate my birthday this year because of being surrounded by such shitty people.
