I am writing this to show you a gothic horror story I wrote for my English class... I hope you enjoy
It was 12 o’clock at night. Silence filled the air. My mother and father were asleep next door. I was just about to fall asleep, then… the wind started blowing against my bedroom window. It was in the middle of January so It didn't bother me but after that moment, strange things started happening. My bedside table lamp kept falling down and my door constantly creeped open. I decided to turn my lamp on and there in the corner of my room was a black and red shadow of a tall creature with long, spiky, black nails. It started to get closer, scrapping its fingers across my wall, leaving blood prints dripping of every inch of the wall. But it didn't come to me. It went into my mother and fathers room. From that moment I could hear clattering glass, broken bones, a loud scream from my father and aloud Yelp from my mother followed by a big clatter. I then knew, I was home alone. I covered myself with my blanket but then I felt a body of a monster on my bed. I saw drops of blood through my bed sheet. My blanket got to away from over my head, it wasn't a monster. It was my mother covered in blood, barely able to breathe. The last words she said were… RUN!!!! But before I could get out of my bed, the black figure was there standing in my doorway, red eyes wide open, claws ready to attack and blood trickling from its mouth. I knew I was going to die so I shut my eyes, took a deep breathe and let time pass by….
This story is based on a movie called insidious, if you don't like horror films then I high recommend not watching it.
