You might have guessed, but this is the first year in four or five that I haven't entered my books into the Wattys.
Maybe I could've entered Martha again, or Lukewarm, I don't know. But now that my self-publishing is picking up and I'm looking at my backlog again to see what I want to share next, it just didn't seem like a smart option. Over the next year, I'm not sure if I'll want ANY of my books online for free, especially given Wasted's release this November and some of my short stories mayyybe coming out too.
Good luck to everyone who has entered, because I'm so sure you'll smash it. I still adore the community of writers on Wattpad and get so mad when people dis the site, because there's so much talent and creativity on here waiting to be discovered.

@emmaeverafter It's understandable, good luck on self-publishing more of your other works, both existing and in the works! I know you'll continue to gain more new audiences and readers alike and profit too through via self-publishing. You're already doing well with currently Guided and Midnight Sherbet published and next Dead Fine !! All the best on whatever you do and for your books, to which I hope one day I can own as physical copies <3

What days would you guys prefer me to upload on?
Going forward, I want to update Eden and Water Baby twice a week... and I think I'll remember better if I have a schedule to stick to!

@emmaeverafter I absolutely love the sound of both but tbh I think I'm leading forward to Eden since I'm digging more into mysteries these days but whichever you end you starting first I don't mind!

@emmaeverafter Ohhh, I was hoping it would be that. Sad to say, I’m not really into YA contemporary novels, because my brain just can’t get engaged with contemporary novels. I prefer speculative novels, you see, including sci-fi and fantasy.

Finally, the epilogue to 'Lukewarm' is out. If you want to check out a teen "romance" which highlights the reality of a teacher/student relationship in gritty detail, go check it out now, because it's officially complete!
Knowing Poppy's ending is kind of bittersweet, because I grew so attached to that group of girls. Maybe you'll be seeing more of Mira, Holly, Logan, Margot and the others soon... who knows.
Thank you to everyone who stuck by this book, and loved it till the very end. I'm so grateful.

I am a novice like most people on here but what I seem to struggle with most is keeping a regular chapter update streaks on any of my books.
Any piece of advice?

@SryDdMi when i first started out, i'd give myself weekly goals and stay up all night trying to hit each target. treat it like you have to write, and hold yourself accountable of you don't!
