Dear Writer,
There are only so many talented storytellers in the world that share their works with others, and you are one of them. From a reader’s view this story is everything one could want. There’s that swoon-giggling warmth and love that pours from my screen, the angst, tension, suspense, mystery, and of so yummy drama, wrapped in a lovely sparkly rainbow of HS.
This story is so much more and I enjoyed every bit of it, from the teacher-student dynamic that gradually built to what became a sort of maternal bond with Nolan to the delicious relationship with Harry and the intertwined friendship group, it was great. You also handled domestic violence as a topic within the story that can sometimes come off as a ‘throw in’ but it was worked properly and it’s part of the plot, even though at chapter 29 we have yet to see its complete fruition.
There’s so much left unknown and it may remain as such, but as a reader to a writer, I would like to convey my appreciation for the time and efforts and creativity behind this story and the writing styles, the third person narrative plays amazingly well to maintain that air of mystery and suspense. Lovely.
I absolutely adore your other stories as well as the time piece. Historical fiction is not my wheelhouse but you did not disappoint and ‘1789’ is brilliant. You have a way of writing moments of sweet escapism that just grabs my heart and squeezes my soul to feel, and that is no small feat. Bravo.
It is so very difficult to write, it takes a lot of a lot of things, so thank you for doing all you’ve published thus far. I do hope this message finds you with good intentions and that you keep writing if not for Harry and Blair, then for yourself and self-fulifilment. All the very best!
