Why do most Muslim stories have to have a toxic guy? I just want to read a good, heart-fluttering Muslim story that doesn't have a walking red flag as the main character. Also, I've noticed that Christian stories have better male characters than Muslim stories, maybe I should try reading those more.

❝ one thing i have learnt this year is to live and live in the moment. life is tough, life is overwhelming and life is a struggle. a struggle to hold on. a constant battle of choosing between what it is and what it should be. this year, you found yourself in situations you never could've possibly imagined yourself to be in. you looked for yourself in everywhere you went and everyone you met. you thrived, you survived, you tried - even if barely. for the year, days, life to come, live. live in the moment. stay. breathe. it gets better. ❞

❝ start where you are and move with humility; recognizing that you may make mistakes along the way and that's okay. what matters is that you are showing up. do not let fear or shame consume you. do not invite them into the conversation. give them no power, no voice, no authority, no control. instead, choose grace; knowing that grace will guide your steps and help you to find your footing as you navigate your way to the future. lean in to the fight - even when it's uncomfortable, even when it'd be easier to back down and do nothing. take your stance. there's work to do. the universe is in motion and so should be you. ❞

          ❝ I want you to know that you do not always need to give it your 100%. You really do not. Let's be honest here, you're human and you're simply not always going to be able to. There are days when you're only able to give it your 80% or your 50% or heck, even less than 10% and THAT IS OKAY. Only skimming one paragraph, only solving one equation, only memorising five words is better than not doing anything because you have this idea in your head that things are only worth doing when you can give what you consider to be your 100%. Even a 1% is better than 0% and some days that is all you can give. Worry not because it will still add up and you will succeed. ❞

EVERYTHING IN YOUR BIO I AGREE WITH!!
          I want to read more stories where girls are strong and independent. Not every “crush” has to be toxic and abusive

@oliviaheleneee YESSS

            I've been on wattpad for years and have seen so many books that ridicule women on enjoying things like makeup, relationships, dressing etc. While continuing on showing guys as 'Greek gods' for doing the exact same things.
