I just realized that my oc, Hiva Shinso, is a little over a year old. That first fic is over a year old! It’s so weird seeing the difference between how it looked when I first wrote it and after the recent edits.

To the people who stuck around that entire year, you’re awesome. You dealt with crappy writing and month long breaks and I applaud you for putting up with it. I’m a better writer now because of the support I got from the people reading my stories and I appreciate it so much.

The people that read my preference book, you’re still dealing with a long break while I catch up on my fic and I’m sorry about it but I also appreciate you for it. Your support of that book helped me explore so many different characters and stories that I eventually want to write. I almost deleted it at one point because no one was reading it and I got worried but then the views and votes started rolling in. Now its got 85.4k views and 1.2k votes which is so cool.

Those notifications of people adding to their library or voting or commenting are what pushed me on my journey to be a better writer. It may just be a hobby, but now I’m able to call it something I’m good at it and that’s really big for. I second guess my abilities a lot so to have people I’ve never met support me meant a lot more than having people who know me and like me support me because they think they have to. Thank you for the help and the support. It really does mean a lot.

It’s my birthday today and I feel old despite not being old at all. This yearly aging thing feels wrong.

Happy Pride Month to all those in the LGBTQ+ community. I know that this month can definitely be harder for some compared to others so just know that my messages are always open for anyone that wants to talk about things that bother them. I read all of my messages so I will see and I will listen to you and help in anyway I can, no matter what. This isn't just for the month of June and it doesn't have to only be LGBTQ+ related. I went through a lot growing up and I always felt like no one cared so I never talked about it and it really hurt me. It may be weird sharing something personal with someone on the internet that you don't know, but I promise I will keep anything you say to me private. I just want the people who think no one wants to listen to know that there is someone here to help them. Once again, happy pride month to others in the LGBTQ+ community and remember I am always here if you need me.
