as much as i like creating my own characters and writing about lives that i'll never get to live, there's something about graphics that makes me have a sense of accomplishment. writing is a long a grueling process, but for graphics, i can create a quality product within an hour. and that makes me happy.

the same goes for fanfiction, too. when i write it, i already know the characters inside out and can create worlds that i imagine them in, find other people with similar interests as me, and can delve into a great book.
