            padme soon turns to him as she looked to his tear filled eyes. she frowned and walked toward him. “if we did go somewhere…you would be willing to give up everything else?” she posed that question to him as she was wondering what he would do if they were to leave it all behind. 

@-rebellionlight ⠀ ╱       ﹫       PADME      :     [   he turns to look at her,  unable to keep his eyes away any longer,   brows furrowed as tears stream down his cheeks.   ]    i can’t do this anymore,  padme,   [   he tells her,  voice hoarse.   ]   everyone wants something different from me and i just want to be with /you./

            padme frowns as she listens to his words. she sighs deeply as she begins to speak. “i don’t want to pretend that i understand what’s going on…because i don’t…” she looked down. she didn’t say those words in any form of malice, but in love. “but i don’t want you to feel like you have to carry the weight of the whole galaxy on your shoulders…and i don’t mean just as a jedi or as a general…or in your relationships with others…” she leaned against the balcony for a moment. she meant in his own personal trials. “i want to share that burden with you…not just because we’re married, ani…” she soon stood up straight. she bit her lip as she still thought about what she had made an oath to. she wanted him to share his burdens with her…but what about her…what about the trouble on her mind within the senate?

padmé soon placed her children into bed so they could settle for the night before she went to her own for the night. she soon settled into bed after awhile. her mind in her dreams went to the day when she would see him again.

            she listened to his gentle words as she gently moved her hands to his shoulders. she carefully placed her forehead against his as she breathed gently. “i often think of you when i am home…wondering if you ever make it out of this war alive…or if i hear back from anyone that something would happen to you….”

            she shook her head as he leaned into her touch as she gently held him. she knew that there had been cases of in the past where jedi had fallen due to jealousy and fear of losing loved ones. but then there was the other side of love that brought joy and light just as he did.
