pa, breathe!   [ she says taking his arm and giving it a gentle shake, chuckling softly. the two had managed to set up a quiet, romantic dinner while luke distracted their mother. it was a grand surprise but what her parents definitely needed ]   you could give her a rock and mama would swoon.  besides, this dinner is exactly what she needs with all that’s been going on.  it’ll be great.

@organad  well,  are you sure? i’ve not always had the best luck surprising your mother with gifts. i mean,  i [think] she’ll enjoy this surprise but what if she doesn’t? are you SURE? i don’t want to disappoint her.

[ the boy groans and runs a hand through his already messy curls. she had threatened him not to mess around with her droid, and obviously he had done just that. now the poor machine was in pieces all over the floor ]   i’m too young to die, dad!  she’s already started her lightsaber training, which means / i’m / going to be her target practice next!

          padmé was standing in a darkened corner , where barely anyone would see her . she knew that anakin wouldn’t have to see her though , he should sense he was there . it had been weeks since she had seen him , he had been away on an important mission . when she saw obi - wan walking in , in front of anakin , her heart began to beat faster . all in anticipation of finally seeing anakin again . she peaked around the corner slightly , hoping to get a view of anakin . she wanted to make sure that no harm had come to him .
