( he spoke, to himself, he was thinking too much. he needed to kill these things, he has to. but, eventually, he heard gunshots, one that weren't his own. someone was here, which he was honestly grateful for. fuck, he felt pathetic. once most of the walkers were dead, he breathed in deep, then quickly searched for whoever assisted him. though, when he saw them, he froze. oh, don't let it be his eyes playing tricks on him. please. )

⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀he didn't want him to cry. despite knowing and understanding that it was an appropriate reaction, it made his stomach curl. no, he wouldn't allow this, he would never allow ankoku to cry over him again. but, for now, he needs to comfort him.
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀his hands let go of his own, placing themselves on either side of his head instead, positioning it to replace the palm over his heart. he wanted him to hear it, feel it, to know this was real. no more crying.

@zombiephobic # - ✎. . . he remembered telling him how good it smelled. how he'd be all over him anytime he put it on. how he'd fall asleep to it while laying his head on his chest and listening to his heart. that scent was such a comfort to him. and there it was. as was that same heartbeat. he couldn't form words. all he could do was come closer and rest his head against the other's shoulder. he felt so much relief. like thousands of pounds had been lifted off of his shoulders. silent, years of bottled up tears began to pour out of his eyes. but nothing came out of his mouth. only soft hiccups. ; i like that one a lot :0 it's so nice to read
