Azeem's body becomes participant to an immortally wicked sport, fought out through the ages between djinni and humans.

Egypt some 100 Years later and Damon, the current owner of Azeem's body, has set his sights on a female slave. She reminds him of another such female, from a different time and under a different name.

However, as a member of the djinni he cares not for past grievances and lives entirely in the moment.

Until one day in the very distant future, when his world will come crashing down around him unless he relinquishes the guise he has taken and allows Azeem his freedom.
