CONTRO L’AMORE E LA MORTE NON VALE ESSERE FORTI / verse: the vendetta
he’s a sardine in a pool full of piranhas. his only connections are with heroes, villains, and vigilantes alike. they only want one thing from him, and that’s his stock of weapons. from pistols to assault rifles, to hand grenades and rpgs of all kinds, mr. viscelgia is known as one of the youngest weapons dealer in a thousand mile radius. having inherited the business from his late father, his reputation is all just under his father’s shadow.
ENTER THE DI ANGELOS — a syndicate made of blood relatives and friends that are close enough to be family. they’re self-proclaimed “vigilantes” and are hated so much so that chase’s father had to escape them too.
when he finally faces them, he meets a precarious situation: as business slows and his dues need to be met, he needs their support, but they want his hand to become one of them.

NOTES:
* he’s incredibly hesitant to even consider joining the di angelos at first, but after that, he’s incredibly intrigued by the idea. after all, they ARE his only surviving family that seem to be interested in looking after him. HOWEVER — and this is important — the only thing keeping him from joining them is his morals. i’d like to say he’s a true neutral. LIKE EXTREMELY NEUTRAL. all his actions, good or bad, are usually balanced out. but joining them means mostly throwing them away completely. the di angelos are starting to get corrupted and chase sees that.
* does he join the di angelos in the end? yes. he does, but for two reasons. one, he makes a deal with them and they supply him with resources to continue his dealing business. they only do this because they want to use him for extracting confidential information from significant individuals. and two, he wants to fix the di angelos and prevent them from doing anymore harm (this means overthrowing his rather powerful and respected uncle).
* once his position is secured in the group, he becomes VENDETTA.
