hello out there!! i’ve never done this before but i just wanted to give a little update on seven twenty-eight without writing a super long authors note.

if you’re up to date on the story, you’d probably know that every chapter is getting significantly shorter than earlier parts of the book. the only explanation i really have for this is that i’m actually pretty satisfied with this part of the last version of st-e, leading me to change less dialogue, structure, etc. and the draft before the one being published was all written with chapters that were anywhere between 2k-5k words, where this version has been mostly between 4k-8k.

i’m trying to rewrite it to make them as lengthy as possible, give the most amount of detail, and a nicer flow of dialogue. however, i’ve found it difficult to do it without accidentally leaving out smaller details that i had to go back and fix after publishing. these tiny, finer details are hard to keep track of after writing the whole book over three times so it’s typically easier for me to copy and paste the last draft and go back and add/subtract miscellaneous sentences and details.

since i’m working a lot faster with this method, after tomorrow i’m going off track of my wednesday & sunday update schedule and updating anytime i finish a chapter for about the next seven or eight chapters.

i hope going so fast doesn’t ruin the fun and anticipation of waiting for new chapters, and i hope the shorter length can still satisfy you.

with all that said, thank you for 800 reads!! i’m really excited to be finishing up this book soon and i’m even more excited to see your thoughts on every thing.

          	All the love,
          	G <3

Hiya
I'm sorry to bother you, but I have a question

What's the reason behind the names of the books you have out?

I've read the first one and halfway through the second, but I don't really understand the names.

Hence the curiosity as to why they are named as such?

hi! no bother at all, i love the questions and interest :) to spoil as least as possible incase anyone comes across this, the titles actually represent dates that are significant to the main character/the plot as a whole. the title of the second book is a bit more hard to detect but if you reference chapter 23 of the first book, you could catch the significance of that title— if it helps, i’ll remind you that they take place in america where dates are formatted by month THEN day, which may be why you didn’t catch it the first time, honestly, i came up with the title when i intended on it being a stand alone and it didn’t feel right to change it when i decided otherwise so i made up the significance as i went along to write the second one.
if you’re still confused, message me and i’ll fill you in on the specification of the significance so i don’t have to spoil anything for anyone else :)
