Hey guys, Happy new year to y'all and I hope 2025 will be a great year for everyone. (sorry for the late wishes, it's been 2 months into 2025.)
So a little update on my life and my ongoing stories. I'm in my third year of degree program right now, so I'm getting busy with my thesis, presentations and projects. I've been writing a lot of reports academically and to be honest, I'm not sure if I would be able to have the spark and skills to write stories anymore. I wanted to put my ongoing stories on hold or even take them down but I don't feel like disappointing those that had been waiting for my updates. But I'll be very frank that I don't really know how to continue them anymore, it's been so long since I wrote or read them, my ideas may have diverted from my initial planning for the story. Putting them on hold means I'll return to them one day but I don't want to make any empty promises, taking them down means disappointing the reader and breaking my own promise too of not finishing up stories that I started.
(I don't know what to do with them anymore, I really really want to return back to writing but I'm just really afraid I can't deliver the stories in my mind like I used to)
Last but not least, I have new ideas in my mind popping. I wanted to write a story about my experience on a "situationship" from last year. Situationships always have a bad rep and not gonna lie, I am also a victim of it. It was my first and only "romantic" encounter (surprise surprise for a person that writes romance lol). It did left a scar and a lot of memories, good or bad ones. It gave me inspiration to want to write a new story. (But I don't want to abandon my old ideas to start on a new one).
