I don’t know enough on your situation, but if you truly believe he wrong you, you don’t have to forgive him. People don’t always say sorry because they care, some just say they’re sorry to remove themselves of guilt and continue to not change behavior or be better. Only forgive if they truly mean they are sorry, because your happiness matters too.
