H.L.A. Claes

Hello,
my name is H.L.A. CLaes and I've loved writing since I was 6 years old. I also have a huge imagination which not everyone appreciates but hey, I wouldn't be writing if I didn't have my imagination :)
I mostly write with the intention of turning the book into a movie or tv series so some of my characters have quite a few characteristics of famous actors.
Also some events in my books are based on things I've done in my real life (but don't think I'm talking about murder scenes or scenes with magic, unless you count my encounter with an Ouija  bord)

facts about me:
- I'm fluent in English and Dutch
- I started writing stories thanks to the Dutch tv series "Het huis Anubis" (the original House of Anubis)
- I hate French (the language, not the people)
- my hobbies are theatre, horse riding, photography, writing, archery and musical
-I graduated from film school and am now studying to become an English and Geography teacher
- I'm currently living with my father and two adorable kittens: Guinevere and her daughter Aurora ( my cover picture shows Guinevere left and Aurora right)
- I can't draw
- I watch a lot of tv series and movies (too much if you ask the people around me)
- I love reading
- I love to watch thrillers and horror movies  but I can't sleep after one
- I can't live without a toilet, my bed or food :)
- the boy in my profile pic is not my boyfriend (although he is the only person of the male gender that I would date), that's Eugene Simon from Game of thrones (Lancel Lannister) and House of Anubis (Jerome)
