— apart of the todoroki clan, and next to inherit the title of clan leader, ( much to his displeasure.. maybe he’ll run away ) he is the perfect blend of his mother and father. the todoroki clan is known for their strong fire techniques until a forced marriage between his mother and father. his father being power hungry and wanted to surpass the kamo family in order to become one of the three great sorcerer families, he began.. having kids. first one was strong, too bad he couldn’t handle his own technique and ended up perishing. the second one was unremarkable, similarly to the zenin family, women weren’t treated as fairly as men— she was discarded, the third was just as unremarkable, but had more status than the second due to being a male. the fourth.. doing something that was rare, had two techniques. those two techniques would later be called “half hot and half cold.”
the ( 15 yr ) boy has a lot of potential to become a first grade— perhaps a special grade. he is truly an anomaly. although most would agree that he should be labeled as such, the problem lies in the boy himself.
shouto hasn’t used his fire technique in a few years, he swore against it after an incident. not many know of it considering the fact that it is implied that you shouldn’t ask. common decency, you know? although, he only uses his ice technique, he is still exceptionally strong. don’t be fooled by him, he’s been training for a long time. too long, honestly.
although he may seem stoic- which he is- he was isolated for 15 years before going to the kyoto district of jujustu high. you cant blame him. all he wants to do is become a great sorcerer, eat soba, and only use his mothers technique all while going through his teenage rebellion.
sucks that he’s gonna have to use his fathers technique soon.
