You know what I don't get rias and issei bashing more so with rias. From what I've seen it's like people have never read the manga or novel and make assumptions based off of other fanfictions because I everyone rias appears in a dxd fanfic the paragraph is flooded with hate comments about her. Funny thing is none of what they say is true. First I've seen people call her power hungry, ignoring that it'd be a good thing to have strong people in your peerage or those with potential to be powerful cause then your protected,not to mention the rating games. second she let issei die, no she didn't she did t even know who he was l, he just so happend to have been given a flier by rias's familiar, the anime added koneko following him by raises orders but that never happened. Third the complaints about letting Kiba, and Asia die well you see Kiba and Asia belonged to the church at the times of their deaths if rias attacked the church that would have started a civil war also she didn't even know about him she just happend to find him. Now with Asia the anime made rias out to look like she didn't want to revive her because of her sacred gear but the actual reason was because it would have upset the angels and started you guessed it a civil war. Literally any complaint a rias basher can make can be rectified by simply reading. I know this was more of rias then rias and issei but she usually takes the brunt of the hate. Any ways this is just me venting after searching for hours only for them to be either a massive harem, an op Mc, a devil bash, discontinued, or in another fucking language
