               the black haired person couldn't help but find himself slightly missing the sigh of hawks wings . weirdly enough he was used to the large appendage ,, anyone else would probably still be starstruck by them . which yeah akio definetly was but he had gotten past that boyish child action .  katsuo picked up the remote && handed it to hawks ,, just in case he'd rather watch something than talk . though akio hoped they could at least make so conversation ,, they surprisingly hadn't done much since going to the store . though it was hard to talk out in public with hawks being such a famous figure . the admiration in their hazel hues was all directed towards the dirty blonde haired hero . not for his fame or because he was hero ,, maybe it was hawks himself . the way he carried himself ,, still managing to be mysterious . though that part did make akio feel a little bothered ,, probably because he was too eager to learn . but patience was good to have ,, he knew that .

              the " civilian " couldn't exactly talk about his own heroics or even air that information out && since knowing other heroes existed ,, he felt comfort in asking others about how they protected people . though akio had only caught the end ,, literally he caught hawks at the end of the fight . though watching probably would've seemed insensitive ?? or stupid ,, both even . the hero before them was just unlike anyone he knew or wanted to know . akio couldn't put his finger on this strange feeling .

                   akio watched hawks for the moment as he had prepped the chicken . soon enough they had a timer going && were only  meant to wait . which akio was perfectly fine with doing ,, he had both a high pain && patience tolerance ,, weirdly enough . moving over towards his couch ,, akio takes a seat and inclines his head to a spot near him for hawks to sit down . their mind was already running with questions he could ask hawks about ,, there was still so much he was yet to know . && it was fairly clear akio was not going to give up on getting to know the male anytime soon .

“There’s no rush to change back ,, I’ll keep it on for a while.” he paused for a moment ,, a wide grin breaking out on his face. “Well ,, since you’re offering ,, I'll keep it then. Best to lay low anyways ,, it would be good to keep this around.”
            
            He nodded as he started prepping the chicken ,, it wouldn’t take too long to drop it. “It sure is. We could watch something while it cooks ,, it won't take too much longer than just half an hour.”

                   akio pulled their arms back to their sides ,, noting how that seemed to not aid them in showing they were friendly . bringing a hand up to their head ,, they scratched it ,, trying to think of what to say .  the female was certainly confused && afraid ,, akio quite frankly felt bad . if they were somewhere unfamiliar they'd feel somewhat lost too . 
            
                    ❝ okay well ,, im akio , akio katsuo . i was just enjoying the night sky && saw you running ? i'm not exactly sure what it was you were doing . it looked really cool though . ❞ 
            
                as usual ,, akio did their best to keep the mood light ,, maybe it would make her feel a bit less stressed . they weren't sure but kindness went a long way && they needed to show they meant no harm . bringing their arm down from their head ,, they finally took note of the strange garb she wore . it was a bit more warm looking ,, very old ages as well . definetly foreign from here ,, good thing it was night time && the air was much cooler so her outfit shouldn't be too bad for the weather at this moment .

                katsuo always did their best to help people when their mind && schedule allowed them too ,, even strangers .  also that was part of their whole other task of protecting the people of this city ,, but no one's suppose to know about that . although it seemed like with where this was going their power might need to be involved ,, they'd keep it to themselves for now . she was the stranger here after all .

                      korra kept her sapphire - teal hues locked onto them as they approached ,   her eyes narrowing as she raised her fists a bit higher ,   ready to strike if needed .   clearly she didn't trust him .   she'd seen enough pretty smiles to know not all of them could be trusted .     "    calm down ?   i have no idea where i am ,   of course i'm a little freaked out .   now who are you ,   and why are you following me ?   "     she narrowed her eyes ,   and pursed her lips while taking a single cautious step forward .   she wasn't going to be taking any risks right now .   she didn't know anything about this person .   did they have any abilities ?   what are their intentions ?   there were too many unknown factors for korra to be diving into a fight ,   or acting rash .                   having heard a strange difference in the sound of the wind ,, this had gotten their attention . originally they had been sitting on top of a building ,, admiring the city lights && also doing some reconnaissance a usual . their strong hearing picked up the hurried pace of steps && sounds of movement from atop other buildings  . akio placed their goggles on their face momentarily ,, a gadget to enhance night vision ,, though they already had more than 20/20 vision ,, this proved useful .
            
               they could clearly make out a figure running but for what reason && where were they heading ? deciding to feed their curiosity ,, akio quiet as they could manage ,, followed quickly behind . keeping to the shadows && away from street light view . the power they felt from the other was different than anything they'd felt before . it was nothing like they had themselves ,, it was like this being was moving the element with their own will . interesting . 
            
                 && it seemed akio katsuo hadn't been as careful with sneaking as they hoped ,, that or this person was just so on edge that their senses were a lot more in tune . stepping into view akio tilted their head to the side ,, gazing over the person in front of them ,, who they now saw as a female . akio wasn't exactly how to approach her as they've never seen her around before && she also seemed too freaked out already . holding their arms out in front of them ,, katsuo tried to show they meant know harm to the female ,, a charming && kind like grin appearing on their features .

and that was extremely truthful ,, for someone with a terrible attention span ,, akio could focus on things that were important in the moment . they also had very high patience ,, it was part of who they were ,, they were never sure if they were always this way or not . the black haired person couldn't seem to remember if they ever tried to dwell too deeply on their past . shrugging it off ,, their charming smile made its way on their face . they had already finished eating && made up their mind on leaving extra money for the businesses staff . izuku was really kind do that made it somewhat better ,, not that it would've mattered if he was rude ,, akio would've left one anyways . you never know who's day could get better by something so simple  .

              it wasn't a lie ,, akio katsuo knew only themselves as a hero . they didn't know much about others who had power ,, not even the one male who interested him most . he was still a mystery ,, one katsuo was determined to piece together . all in time . they noted how the green haired males eyes would light up on the subject ,, it must be a positive conversation topic . deciding they'd keep that in mind as akio happened to enjoy learning about their new acquaintances ,, friends ,, whatever their relationships with people were determined as .

              akio tapped  their chin as the word heroes hit their mind . they didn't much discuss this topic with anyone ,, maybe due to their own secrets or just because it wasn't something they thought about often . it seemed to still stump them that there were others out there as they hadn't encountered any their whole life time . well not till recently ,, more or less . but maybe wasn't the time to bring him up ?? akio sat there with a confused look on their face ,, zoning out a bit as their mind raced . hopefully izuku wouldn't take offense to them not paying full attention in that moment . it took them a few seconds to snap back into the conversation ,, asking the question that could continue the two's talk .

“That’s sweet of you” he said brightly. “You don’t have to do that for me, not realy at least. But if you want to, it would be very appreciated.”
            
            Izuku just observed akio for a moment, wondering what they would talk about next. He really did think they were just a sweet person. Though some things he had said had led them to look a bit confused, so izuku wondered why exactly that was. It was definetly a source of cuirouslity for him that he wanted to know more about. That in and of itself definetly prompted him to think that akio was rather interresting, and they could really have fun together.
            
            
            A wide grin spread across izuku’s face at the suggestion, even if he was’t exactly sure of what he wanted to talk about now ( that didn’t involve heroes ) , he still liked akio a lot and really hoped that they would be good friends. Akio was a rather sweet person, and he felt as if he met so little of those as is. So it was a rare thing for him to make a new friend at work, due to multiple factprs, not just the fact that he was often too distracted to do so, often wondering about what his next job was.
            
            “Definetly. I think you’re great too.i’d love to hang out later. How about when im off my shift? I could maybe tell you about some of my favorite heroes!”
            
            It was hard to miss the level of enthusiasm in his voice, as did it seem with anything and everything that had to do with heroes. It was just so deeply rooted in his personality by now that even at his age he still admired some of the top heroes. If he ever got the chance to meet one? Oh, that would be a dream come true. He wondered if akio had ever met a hero before. If they had, then that would almost be a cause for jealousy if they weren’t newfound friends.
