Jasmine

Wow, to look back at the old me and think of what I was like...it's kind of scary. We can change so easily over time. I haven't used this site in a while and my little 'About Me' section and stories were a massive cringe, hopefully this time around they'll be more creative and intriguing.

I was born in Barbados, however I have lived in the UK for the past 9 years. You're probably thinking the same question everyone has asked me before, why did I move here? Because I had no choice, couldn't exactly debate with my mom at 9 years of age. Don't get me wrong though, I like it here, the weather is just a tad bit depressing at times.

I love to read, write, shop, dance, travel, eat and sing. The latter is probably not a good idea to do while out in public as I sound a lot like a cat...on crack...being run over by a lorry.

I'm half Indian and half Bajan, so imagine a bit of chicken tikka masala and flying fish...the two usually don't mix well. However I personally do have the best of both worlds, two completely distinct cultures to appreciate.

Jasmine, that's my name, it is not pronounced as 'Yasmin'.
