@iamjamiestark is a collaboration between @maxinedonner and @lesliemcadam, both romance/erotica writers, who wanted to curate a collection of the best works on Wattpad in this genre.  Because Wattpad tends to hide the “mature” work, unless you have the After Dark app, we wanted to collect it and showcase the best of it here.

While we have different, but overlapping tastes, good writing is a passion for both of us.  We understand that most people on Wattpad are amateurs, like us.  But it is easier, and more fulfilling, to read a story that engages you on all levels: story, character, and gorgeous imagery are important, but we also want correct (or reasonably correct) grammar and we want stories that challenge us, are heart-stoppingly creative, and, above all else, make us want to keep reading.

We are sticklers for proper grammar, although we admit that we are not perfect.  @maxinedonner likes to add commas, while @lesliemcadam avoids them if she can.  The main thing is that we don’t want grammatical mistakes to get in the way of telling the story.

If you have suggestions of stories we should check out, please PM us, we are all ears.  We would love to promote the best “mature” romance on Wattpad under this account.

A warning that we may also take a sojourn into other genres if we find work that is just amazingly good.  But for the most part, we are going to focus on Romance and Erotica.
