hey guys.. its been a while, i know.
i started peppermint as a sad 16 year old locked in my room and found solace in fictional characters. haikyuu specifically because it was so comforting and lighthearted. i saw a couple characters my age playing volleyball and ran with the idea of writing about them.
to be completely honest, ive lost interest in anime a while ago. im turning 20 next year, i generally have a lot going on. but i want to get into writing again.
and so im writing a second book based on peppermint because tbh id off myself if i was reading a story i enjoyed just for it to end so sadly.
ive had the plot idea since like a year ago but never got to actually writing. writing this story now, its technically a timeskip so i feel a lot more freedom since there isnt much plot in the show/manga that talks about what everyones like as young adults with full blown careers. i wanna bring a sense of maturity into this part, and hopefully be able to once again apply my own experiences as an adult in uni in order for the story to be more genuine, like i did when i was 16 and in highschool.
its like 3am where i am rn, so i just want to thank you guys for enjoying my writing and finding comfort in y/n because that means you have found comfort in me.
still very insane that the first book i wrote got so many reads, and that people are still adding it to their libraries nearly 3 years later.
im happy that u guys felt happy because of me :))
