          ik it's a very funny joke about ling lings existing everywhere, but god, isn't that just...hurtful af? i mean, i'm 19, i've been a little ling ling when i was 2, and now whatever i try to dedicate my life in, there's always going to be a kid better than i can ever be.

          so my internship class has a discord server, so i joined with my personal account thinking it won't be that bad. my virtual name was "jisung's pet fish" (don't ask me what that means) so to sound like i'm not that insane, i changed my server nickname to my dead name so that people can recognise me.
          
          my teacher joined the server as well, and we were the only ones alive in the server so we talked awkwardly about the project (i was the awkward one) and it was all well and good, UNTIL HE DM'ED ME.
          
          ik he means no harm and he doesn't mind because anyone can tell at first glance that i've been on discord for a while and it's a personal account, BUT IMAGINE TALKING TO ONE OF YOUR STUDENTS WHO HAS ONE OF THE WEIRDEST NAMES AND PFPS EVER.
          
          ik i'm making a mountain out of a molehill but i cannot live this down. teachers forever scare me even if they're the most lenient people i've ever met, and i don't even want to know how dumb i must sound when i was one of the smartest students of the bunch.

i gave up. not just dreams, but on my whole life. there's no point in pushing so hard to reach anywhere.
