There once was a girl. A brown-eyed, brown-haired girl who, for all intensive purposes, seemed completely average.

But what no one knew was that she was a super hero and a time-traveller, a princess and a warrior, a pirate and a spy. She had one life and many lives all at once. Day after day she trekked through jungles, fought oppressive regimes, and danced at balls.

She chose her own path and was not dictated by the outside world.

Her weapons were a box of notebooks, a treasured pen, and a laptop.

Her enemies were unseen and unheard but they existed, spreading propaganda and seeking to destroy the only thing that kept the world from fading into complete shades of grey.

Creativity.

The brown-eyed girl fought back with a vengeance, letting her voice be heard and sharing the ideas in her head. It was a thankless job, but her words stretched far and wide and everywhere they settled, a single burst of colour bloomed and seeped back into the walls and the ground.

The war waged on, but the girl never tired because she was bolstered by the allies who had joined her cause.

They called themselves authors, and they were the heroes of a thousand stories.
