Working on a new chapter for the Hell Burns Cold anthology. It's a bit of a longer one and serves more as an allegory than a cautionary tale, so it's gonna take maybe another day or so to complete.

Hey everyone, it's ya boi again.
          I know it has been roughly... *checks notes* a year-ish since I last updated anything on here. I've been dealing with a lot (escaping living with abusive/controlling parents and learning to be independent). It has been hell, I won't lie to you. I've dealt with lots of mental health crises in the past year, but I'm getting better.
          So, I am going to resume any projects I've had put on pause and also try to start new projects to get the ol' noggin working again.
          
          ALSO: If y'all haven't noticed yet, I have changed the title and cover for my story I previously called "That Boy." After much consideration (and affectionate roasting from my partner), I decided that the title wasn't a good fit and was too reminiscent of "here come dat boi, o shit waddup."
          It is now called "High Hopes In Low Places." The characters and story will largely remain the same, but I am going to briefly unpublish the entire work so I can do heavy construction on the story. I am not deleting it, but the text is getting a major face lift and will not be available for viewing until after I have completely revised the story.
          
          Thank you so much everyone for all the love and support y'all have provided me over the years <3 y'all have made this southern boy's heart more full than y'all could ever imagine.

          Sorry for being gone literally 2 fuckin years y'all. lots has happened. between escaping a literal cult and struggling with mental health, I didn't really have any time for myself.
          I moved away from all of that roughly 3.5 months ago, and I'm slowly getting myself together.
          
          I'm going to revise That Boy and finish it, and I'll also be taking Gummy down completely out of respect for our beloved boys of BTS. You do you, but I think it is weird for me personally to write BTS member ship fics.

I know, as much as I've been going missing online it seems like I'm always on hiatus. but I've just not been in the greatest mental headspace. I'm also working on a very big project, so I'm going to be putting a lot of my creative energy into that. I'll be back when I can be.
